Flat and round box with a picture of a flowing wine cup on a carved red landscape figure, built during the Qianlong period of the Qing Dynasty, with a height of 8.3 centimeters and a diameter of 17.8 centimeters
Sugarcane section type, female and child mouth, flat bottom, painted red throughout the body, and black paint on the inside and outside of the box. The cover is carved with a curved water cup. The edge of the cover is carved with continuous echoes, and both the cover wall and the box wall are carved with hexagonal brocade. The central knife on the inside of the cover is engraved with the gold regular script “Flowing Cup Treasure Box” model, while the central knife on the outside is engraved with the gold regular script “Made in the Qianlong Year of the Qing Dynasty” model
The imperial carved lacquer used during the Qianlong period was sampled by the Qing Palace Fabrication Office and manufactured by Suzhou Weaving. The composition of the Qushui Water Cup on the cover of the Carved Red Flowing Cup Treasure Box and the Carved Red Orchid Pavilion Treasure Box is the same, and should be the same manuscript
