The flower goblet is modeled after a bronze ware, with halberds on each side. The body of the instrument is painted with ancient copper color, with partial decorative patterns depicting gold color. The body is molded with banana leaf patterns, and the waist is molded with Kui dragon patterns. The outer sole is printed with six characters and three lines of seal script “made in the reign of Emperor Qianlong of the Qing Dynasty”< The firing of ancient copper color is relatively complex. Firstly, the tea powder colored glaze needs to be fired at high temperature, and then gold and green rust spots are painted on it. Then, it is fired in a kiln at low temperature for secondary firing to achieve the effect of ancient and mottled. During the Qianlong period, porcelain imitation was outstanding and lifelike, with imitation of copper being the most successful. This vase has a lifelike shape, ancient and simple glaze color, and clear lines, making it breathtaking.
