The furnace imitates the style of a copper incense burner, with a built-in furnace cover, a straight mouth, a neck, a towering rope ear, a flat round belly, and three columnar feet underneath. At the mouth edge, the seal script in Yangwen (made in the Qianlong period of the Qing Dynasty) is printed in six characters in horizontal arrangement. The whole body is painted with gold, decorated with mold printing and hollow patterns. The cover is evenly divided into six petals, each with a circular opening carved with a double dragon pattern inside. The upper part of the opening is embossed with a deformed dragon pattern for one week, and the cover button has a hollow lotus flower and lotus leaf pattern. The furnace neck and furnace body are embossed with three peach shaped open lights, with a flat dragon pattern inside, and a deformed cicada pattern on the legs
The decorative gold color on ceramic ware began in the Tang Dynasty, and was also fired in Ding and Jian kilns in the Song Dynasty. During the Yuan and Ming dynasties, the use of gold color increased, and the technology was mostly gold foil gilding. In the Qing Dynasty, the gold painting process was widely used. The gold powder was dissolved into glue, mixed with appropriate amount of lead powder, painted on porcelain, baked at low temperature, and finally rubbed with agate stick or quartz sand to make it glow. The exquisite and exquisite decoration of this furnace, with its entire body painted with gold and color, fully demonstrates the superb ceramic antique craftsmanship of the Qianlong period of the Qing Dynasty.
