[Four petal box with eight treasures of asparagus inlaid with bamboo silk]
Four petal box with eight treasures of asparagus inlaid with bamboo silk, in the middle of the Qing Dynasty, with a height of 4.4 cm and a diameter of 9.2 cm. The old collection of the Qing Palace
The box is made of four sunflower petals, and the cover matches the body’s mother mouth. The whole body is decorated with asparagus, and the outer facade is decorated with fine horizontal bamboo threads, which are arranged neatly and evenly. The natural color and texture of bamboo silk show a unique decorative effect due to the changes in depth. The cover is pasted with asparagus layer on the bamboo silk layer, and the eight treasure patterns are carved with dark bamboo springs, which not only endows it with auspicious meaning, but also enriches the overall aesthetic feeling of the implements, which is the finishing touch.
