[Palm and sunflower box]
Palm and sunflower box, in the middle of the Qing Dynasty, with a height of 4.3 cm and a diameter of 10.4 cm. The old collection of the Qing Palace
The box is made of eight-petal sunflower style, the contour line is curved, the cover and the body mother mouth match, the convex lip, and the bottom has a shaped ribbon foot. The inner wall is painted with black paint. The outer wall is dazzled by the unique yellow-brown and interlaced natural color and texture of palm bamboo. A flower is pasted in the middle of the cover, the flower core is rolled in, the petals rotate outward, and the color line changes direction with the petals, converges into a vortex, and seems to flow continuously. This device pursues complex visual effects in simple design, and gives full play to the aesthetic feeling of the material itself.
