[asparagus inlaid with bamboo silk rectangular box]
asparagus inlaid with bamboo silk rectangular box, in the middle of the Qing Dynasty, is 4.9 cm high, 9.5 cm long and 6.7 cm wide. The old collection of the Qing Palace
The box is rectangular, square, flat, and the cover fits with the body. The inner wall of the box is inlaid with asparagus, the outer bottom is also inlaid with asparagus, and the rest is inlaid with bamboo silk for decoration. The bamboo filaments are fine, the color and texture change slightly, and the arrangement is even. The turning points on each side of the box body are connected naturally without trace. The transition zone between the cover and the vertical wall also breaks the rule of horizontal arrangement of the whole body of the decorative patterns, and the diamond decorative blocks are arranged at the turning point, which is ingenious in design. The cover is inlaid with asparagus layer on the bamboo silk layer for decoration, and the black flower hook checkered pattern is pasted with dyed bamboo yellow, which becomes the finishing touch of the utensils under the background of bamboo silk decoration.
