“Wufu Hall” seal, Yongzheng, Qing Dynasty, Shoushan stone, lotus leaf oval seal, Chinese seal. The face is oval, 2.5 cm wide, 3.9 cm long, and 6.1 cm high
The Wufu Hall is located in the “natural picture” scenic spot of the Yuanmingyuan. “Five blessings” are derived from the Shangshu Hong Fan: “one is longevity, the other is wealth, the third is Kang Ning, the fourth is good morality, and the fifth is the end of life.” It is the goal of the ancient Chinese people to pursue happiness in life. The emperors of the Qing Dynasty also attached great importance to the “Five Blessings”. Emperor Kangxi issued a plaque entitled “Five Blessings Hall” to Emperor Yongzheng. Emperor Yongzheng also copied these three words and hung them in the Yonghe Palace and the Yuanmingyuan Palace for immortality. This seal was immediately made after the plaque given by Emperor Kangxi
