Porcelain Yunlong Niu “Leshan Hall” treasure

[Porcelain Yunlong Niu “Leshan Hall” treasure]

“Leshan Hall” seal, Kangxi of Qing Dynasty (Yongzheng was the emperor’s period), porcelain oval seal, blue and white Yunlong pattern on the upper part, seal script in Chinese. The face is oval, 6 cm wide, 9 cm long, and 10 cm high
This treasure was made before Emperor Yongzheng succeeded to the throne. According to Emperor Qianlong’s “Records of Leshan Hall”, Leshan Hall is the name of the hall in the reign of Emperor Qianlong’s son. There are two places in total, which are located in the hidden residence of Taohuawu in Yuanmingyuan and Chonghua Palace in the palace. However, the two Leshan halls mentioned by Emperor Qianlong were first named in the Peach Blossom Dock in the Yuanmingyuan, which he was given to live in in the fourth year of Yongzheng’s reign (1726), which is obviously different from the Leshan Hall mentioned in this seal. According to this seal, it is known that there was the name of “Leshan Hall” in his secret residence long before Emperor Yongzheng ascended the throne, but the specific situation is unknown
