Five-color figure bottle, Kangxi, Qing Dynasty, 45.1 cm high, 11.9 cm caliber, 12.8 cm foot diameter
Bottle tray mouth, straight neck, oblique shoulder, straight belly and round foot. The inner and outer walls are painted with white glaze, and the outer walls are decorated with multicolored decoration. The mouth is decorated with red color, the neck is painted with two groups of bamboo and stone flowers, the shoulders are distributed with square brocade and four groups of light, and the open light is painted with mountain village grass houses respectively. The motif of the belly wall shows the war scene in “The Romance of the Sui and Tang Dynasties” – Qin Shubao rides his horse to fight Yuchi Gong, and Li Shimin, the king of the Tang Dynasty, and Xu Maogong watch the battle in the city. This pattern, commonly known as “Dao Ma Ren”, was often used in ceramic decorative paintings during the Kangxi period of the Qing Dynasty. The outsole is painted with white glaze, without style.
