The top right of this picture is entitled “Splendid Clouds and Mountains”. On the lower left is a small official inscription: “The tripod of Yu in Guangling in March of Xinsichun was painted respectfully.” This seal is printed as follows: “The clouds share this heart” (Zhu Wen), “Every beauty is also true” (Bai Fang), “The tripod of Yu” (Bai Wen), and “Shen Zhai” (Zhu Wen). Xinsi was a painter in the 40th year of Kangxi’s reign in the Qing Dynasty (1701) at the age of 55. Wu Menglong wrote a poem on the tail paper: “Who can hold his knees, sit alone and look at the whole world, only so big. Half his life, he can travel around the ligularia, the clouds and the mountains, go in and out of the sleeves, and his heart is free. In the ruler, there are all kinds of beauty, and all the articles in the world are gathered here. A row of masters, the wind and the hole are long, and he is willing to rain for the sake of the rain, and the four sides will be moistened.” Later, there are inscriptions of Wang Danlin, Zhu Zaizhen, Sun Zhimi and others
The picture in the picture shows Mr. Jietao Zhu Yi sitting on the slope stone at the middle of the mountain, with leopard skin covering the ground, with a dignified look, facing high and looking far, and looking all over the mountains. The pines behind him are vigorous and luxuriant, which conveys the realm of “peace and distance” of the image master
The artist captures the facial features of the image subject, which are “old eyes and shallow spirits, and wrinkles and pleats”, and is meticulous. The painting method of clothing pattern is based on Wu Daozi’s “blue leaf painting”, and also on Li Gonglin’s “flowing clouds and flowing water painting”, which shows the texture of clothes and reveals the elegance of the Lord. Influenced by Lan Ying of the Ming Dynasty, his landscape painting style is simple and beautiful in the Qing Dynasty, and he also works and writes.
