The cotton jacket has a standing collar, a placket, flat cuffs, and a train at the back. The coat is made of stone blue satin and lined with moon white dark satin. Use more than ten kinds of colored weft threads to weave the golden longevity character, blue dragon eight regiments and sea water river cliffs with the method of “digging shuttle”. Eight regiments have unique patterns, fine texture and rich colors
From the perspective of form, this coat should be the dragon coat worn by the Empress of Emperor Kangxi of the Qing Dynasty, and it should be a pair of Ming yellow satin embroidered gold and colored eight regiment dragon cotton gown. The queen’s dragon coat is decorated with eight groups of dragons, and the lapel is four groups of dragons, while the eight groups of dragon coat are all five-claw dragons, which is related to the incomplete clothing system in the early Qing Dynasty
