Bamboo carving with green poetry and prose armrests

[Bamboo carving with green poetry and prose armrests]

Bamboo carving with green poetry and prose armrests, clear, 27.5 cm long, 6.1 cm wide. The old collection of the Qing Palace
The arm rest is long and tiled. There are five poems by Wang Zhenbai, Jiang Fang and other poets of the Tang Dynasty carved in Yangwen in the blue method: one five-character rhythmic poem of “rain and dew and everything”, one five-character rhythmic poem of “the beautiful sun hastens the late scenery”, three seven-character rhythmic poems of “the clear water reflects the distant sky”, “the green chariot and the red flag out of the imperial capital”, and “the Wei River haunts the Qinsaiqu” [It is suggested that the author and title of the five poems be added to the notes.] The beginning of each poem is separated by a word from the previous poem. There are 268 characters in six columns of the size of the local characters. The characters are as small as flies, and the stippling and hooking are full of brushwork. The layout does not violate the rules of the book, and the style is fresh and elegant, which is beyond the reach of ordinary hands
Because of the expression of the text, the level of the instrument is the same, which seems to be relatively simple, but in fact, it is difficult to make, which fully shows the outstanding achievements of the technique of painting and calligraphy
