“Zhang Guinan’s Epitaph”, engraved in the second year of Daye Sui (606), ink Tuo, whole paper folded. 62 cm vertically and 68 cm horizontally. Mr. Ma Heng donated gifts
The original title of the epitaph is “The epitaph of Mrs. Zhang, the wife of Cai Fujun, the governor of Handan County in the Sui Dynasty”, which was carved on December 29, the second year of Daye in the Sui Dynasty (606). It was unearthed in Handan, Hebei Province in the fifteenth year of Guangxu’s reign in the Qing Dynasty (1889). The original stone was once collected by Wang Xiaoyu and Duanfang. The regular script is rigorous and elegant, and is one of the representative works of “Sui Stele”, which is highly valued by artists. This book is refined in light ink, with the seal of “Tao Zhai Cang Shi”, which was developed by Duanfang Family in the late Qing Dynasty. The seal of the seal is “Tao Zhai Cang Shi”, “All the inscriptions on gold and stone in the Zhai”, “Ma Heng examines and approves”, etc
The rubbings are sealed with Ma Heng’s autograph, and a five-line postscript is made to identify the obscure and difficult words in the annals.
