[The epitaph of Zhang Fujun’s wife, Tian Yanmen County, in the early Qing Dynasty]
The epitaph of Zhang Fujun’s wife, Tian Yanmen County, was carved in the second year of Tang Tianshu (691), and the ink was expanded, and 11 copies of the book were cut and mounted. Each opening is 29 cm vertically and 27 cm horizontally. Mr. Ma Heng donated gifts
This record is carved in June of the second year (691) of the reign of Empress Wu Zetian. There are many new characters created by Wu Zhou. Small regular script is gentle and elegant, charming and colorful, and extremely flexible, which is the top grade of Tang Zhi’s calligraphy. Xiyuan Stone has long been unknown, and only a few rubbings have been handed down
This book has basically no missing characters, and the strokes are as clear as new. It should be a rubbings in the early Qing Dynasty
After the rubbings, there is a postscript by Mr. Ma Heng, pointing out that this record was first recorded by Mao Fengzhi of the Qing Dynasty in the “Investigation on the Preservation and Loss of Gold and Stone in Guanzhong”, which was collected by Zhao Yuanzhong at that time. The first paragraph of the postscript is “Mr. Jingyu”, which indicates that this volume has not been returned to Ma at that time. The seal of the seal is “static seal” and “approved by Ma Heng”
