The vat is round, full on the top and full on the bottom, short in circles, and gilded on the mouth and feet. The mouth edge is decorated with blue Kui dragon and pink hanging cloud patterns for one week respectively, and the belly is decorated with tangled flower patterns and made of four open lights. The interior is painted with different landscape figures, such as watching cranes, listening to xiao, class, birthday and other scenes. The foot is painted with light yellow glaze, and the center is decorated with blue dragon pattern
The glaze and painting of the vat are typical of Guangzhou style. According to the records, in the tenth year of Qianlong, Guangdong General concurrently took charge of the Cileng Pass in Guangdong and paid tribute to a pair of fish tanks of different sizes, which may correspond to each other
