[Carved Eight Immortals Group Fan with Kesi Flower and Bird Tooth Handle]

Carved Eight Immortals Group Fan with Kesi Flower and Bird Tooth Handle, clear, 45 cm in length, 31.5 cm in maximum width. The old collection of the Qing Palace
The fan is in the form of banana with wide upper and narrow lower parts. The central part of the fan is taped on the pink ground with folded peonies, plum flowers and ribbon birds. Its layout is all in accordance with the painting principle. The flower branches are bent and the birds are especially vivid. It is worth noting that the edge of the object form is taped with silk thread, and the inside is painted with additional strokes, which not only reduces the difficulty of the process, but also makes the part more exquisite and realistic, reflecting the new style of taped silk in the Qing Dynasty. The patterns on the front and back of the fan are the same, and the lines are clear and flat, which is the result of the use of the emerging tapestry technology. The lower part of the fan is equipped with four persimmon pedicle-shaped protectors, one side is decorated with tapestry and painted with precious flowers, and the other side is embroidered with curly grass patterns. The overall color of the fan is red and blue, and the peony and plum blossom are also rolled with two kinds of silk thread. The color matching is harmonious, and the right blue stabilizes the picture, making it not sweet and greasy. The fan handle is made of teeth and inlaid with rhinoceros horn tip. The handle body is engraved with painted patterns of eight immortals. The black and white are distinct and the writing is vivid.
