The two Buddhas sat side by side on a square waist banded pedestal, with a long round face, a slight smile, a bent shoulder, and a coat. The right edge of the coat was folded over the left hand, and their hands were placed on the knees of the seated Buddha. The knees were stretched out, and they were beautiful and childish. They had the characteristics of the statues in the first half of the sixth century of the Northern Dynasty. The head light and the clothes of the sitting Buddha were both left with traces of painting, and the back was marked with the excavation mark: “Second Temple Trace/No. 13”, It is one of the few statues with colorful paintings unearthed in the National Temple of Bohai Sea.
