There is no author’s signature on this painting. Emperor Qianlong of the Shangshitang inscribed the word “Yishen” and stamped the three seals of “Five Blessings and Five Dynasties Hall Ancient Treasure of Heaven”, “Supreme Emperor’s Treasure” and “Jingji Mountain Villa”. There are also ten inscriptions of Emperor Qianlong from the twenty-eighth year of Qianlong to the fiftieth year of Qianlong (1763-1785) for more than 20 years on this painting. There are more than 20 seals, such as “Guxi Tianzi”, “Qian”, “Long”, “Qianlong Chenhan”, and “several times to be happy”. There are also four Qianlong inscriptions on the border, which were written in the fifty-fourth year of Qianlong (1789), the fifty-sixth year of Qianlong (1791), the fifty-eighth year of Qianlong (1793) and the second year of Jiaqing (1797). Over the past 30 years, Emperor Qianlong has carried out 14 quality tests, which shows that he is very fond of this work, There is a text saying: “Life is quiet, and the words of Confucianism are the same. Life is like a letter, and the purpose of a scholar is the same. The mountain is based on peace, and it is based on heaven and earth, and people are based on the mountain and other views. The mountain is based on peace, so it is always based on peace.” So the villa is named “peace and quiet”
