Boxwood Guanyin

[Poplar wood carving Guanyin]

Poplar wood carving Guanyin, at the end of the Ming Dynasty, is 23.5 cm in height and 6.1-5 cm in bottom diameter
Guanyin is standing tall, barefoot, dressed in a heavenly garment, high in a bun, with a wreath hanging on her chest, holding a scroll in her right hand, and closing the corner of her dress in her left hand. Her body turns slightly, and her clothes are light, revealing her charm inadvertently. Its face is serene, and its eyes are slightly closed. It is as clear as if I have forgotten something. The figure is round and bony, with a “S” shape, solemn and feminine. The treatment of the garment pattern is complex and gorgeous, which shows the texture and drape of the garment well, and becomes the most wonderful part of the statue.
