[Rhinoceros horn carved pine and cypress landscape cup]
Rhinoceros horn carved pine and cypress landscape cup, at the end of the Ming Dynasty, 9.9 cm high, 11 caliber × 8.9 cm
This cup is made of the back horn of African rhinoceros, with a slightly open mouth and a slightly closed bottom. With a landscape composition, the handle of the cup is carved into the shape of a pine trunk, and the pine branches stick straight into the cup mouth. The stream on the outer wall of the cup is winding and goes straight to the bottom of the cup. On both sides of the stream, cypress, tung and maple stand among the rocks, vigorous and vigorous. Although the body of the cup is not large, its wall is thick, its cutin is fine and dense, and its carving is exquisite. It is a good collection for scholars.
