Luo Xiaohua’s Spring Green Ink Pool is 8.0 cm in diameter and 1.3 cm in thickness
Ink circle type, with convex edges on both sides, and gold coating on the whole body. The four characters “spring green in a pool” are written in the center of one side. On the other side, there is a picture in Yangwen: a dragon rises in the sea, winding like a scorpion. On one side of the ink, there are four characters in the regular script of “Shuiyun Residence System”, and on the other side, there are four characters of “Xiaohua Yishi”
“A pool of spring green” ink is a treasure of Luo Xiaohua’s ink. The name of ink is “a pool of spring green”, which is derived from the “wind suddenly rises and wrinkles a pool of spring water” in the poem “Visit the Golden Gate” by Feng Yansi of the Southern Tang Dynasty. The graphic design of this ink is quite ingenious and its shape is exquisite. Its font is smooth, free and powerful. The water ripples, and a dragon swims in it. It is leisurely and comfortable, giving people a sense of detachment from the secular world.
