Clear the round box with the color cloud Heshou character, Ming Jiajing, 14.2 cm in height and 32 cm in diameter
The box is round and flat. Prepare red, green, yellow and other colors for color removal. The cover is carved with green paint and cloud brocade, and the center is carved with a round seal character “longevity”. In the clouds, six cranes with different postures spread their wings and fly with pine, bamboo, plum, peach, ganoderma lucidum and chips in their mouths. Their graceful necks and nimble posture show the crane’s light and graceful wind posture. The edge of the cover and the wall are also carved with cloud crane patterns, and the upper and lower edges are decorated with ganoderma lucidum patterns. The inside and outside of the box are painted with black light paint, and the center of the outside bottom is engraved with six characters of gold regular script “made in Jiajing of the Ming Dynasty”
The carving work of this article is fast and sharp, the paint color is deep, and the style is inlaid with gold. These are the typical characteristics of Jiajing carved lacquer.
