The box is round, straight wall and flat top. The whole body is made of blue enamel. The center of the cover is decorated with a blooming lotus flower, surrounded by branches and vines, and the wall is decorated with several colorful lotus patterns. The bottom center is decorated with the “Xuande New Year” style, and centered around the two glazed lotus petals
The method of making the pattern of this box is different from that of filigree enamel, with rough lines. It is made by using the metal flower carving technique to carve the pattern on the surface of the copper tire, then fill the concave with various colors of enamel, and then calcine, gild and polish it. It is the only work of filigree enamel in Xuande period, which is precious
