The bowl should be skimmed, the lower abdomen should be retracted, and the lower part should be carried with high feet. The inside of the bowl is painted with blue and white double lines, and the inner bottom is painted with blue and white double circles. The regular script “made in Xuande year of the Ming Dynasty” is six characters. The outer wall of the bowl is painted with a picture of a beautiful woman watching the moon, with a boy waiting on the side, supplemented by mountains, rivers, trees and stones, and painted with cloud patterns. The foot handle is painted with pine, bamboo and plum patterns
Ming Xuande Blue and White uses imported blue materials. This kind of high iron and low manganese material is easy to faint and disperse during the firing process, so the painted patterns are not clear enough. The blue color of this bowl is relatively elegant, and the decoration is relatively clear, which is really rare. Its cloud patterns are outlined with thick and thin lines, and this painting method also has an impact on later porcelain patterns. In the period of Xuande in the Ming Dynasty, it was rare for ceramic utensils to take the figure pattern as the subject matter, so this bowl was the representative work of the figure pattern utensils in the period of Xuande
