Red cloud phoenix pattern light holder

[Remove the red cloud phoenix pattern holder]

Remove the red cloud phoenix pattern holder, Ming Yongle, height 9 cm, caliber 9.7 cm, disc diameter 16.9 cm, foot diameter 8.4 cm. The old collection of the Qing Palace.
The calyx holder is composed of three parts: a round mouth, a sunflower petal-shaped disc and an outer skimming ring foot. Carve red paint patterns on the yellow paint plain ground. The outer wall of the mouth and the plate are carved with two phoenixes flying in the clouds, and the outer wall of the plate and the ring foot are carved with cloud patterns. The inside of the foot is hollow, the wall is painted with ochre paint, and the inside side of the foot is stitched with the “Da Ming Yongle Year System” running script
The lacquer lamp holder has appeared in the Song Dynasty, all of which are light and plain paint, while the carved lacquer lamp holder has existed in the Yuan Dynasty, but it is only a carved rhinoceros work. There are a lot of Yongle Calendums decorated with flower patterns. At present, there are only two examples of phoenix patterns that have been handed down from generation to generation, both of which are extremely exquisite. This is one of them. The pattern of the cup holder is engraved on the right side of the inner wall of the foot, and the pattern of the plate and box is engraved on the left side of the foot.
