The fan page has its own title: “Jia Yin Meng Chun, Xue Shi Sujun wrote for Lady Meng Wan Huang.” The seal is “Xue □” Zhu Wenyin, one of which is illegible
“Jiayin” is the forty-second year of the Wanli period of the Ming Dynasty (1614)
Xue Susu married Shen Defu, a famous scholar, as a concubine after she reached middle age. With the change of her identity, she also changed in the selection of painting materials. She turned from the creation of orchid and bamboo themes to the creation of figure paintings and landscape paintings, thus opening up the scope of her own art. This is the only landscape painting by Xue Susu, which is full of strong flavor of literati painting. On the basis of chapping, the mountain stones are dyed with ink halo, revealing a beautiful and fresh charm in the unique style. Although the characters in the painting are only inches small, they are vivid and vivid, which can be regarded as the focus of the picture
