[Huanghua pear single board enclosure Arhat bed]
Ming Dynasty, 218.5 cm long, 114 cm wide and 79 cm high
This Arhat bed is made of Huanghuali wood. The bed is a three screen bed surrounded by a backrest enclosure and two side handrail enclosures. The bed surface is woven with rattan drawers. There is a corset under the bed surface, a pot front tooth plate under the corset, and a carved Ganoderma lucidum flower in the pot front tooth plate. The four legs are drum legs and fangs, and the foot ends are carved into inverted hoofs. This bed is made of yellow pear veneer. It is simple and elegant without decoration. It has the natural beauty of Ming-style furniture that “clear water comes out of hibiscus, and natural decoration goes out”
