The top left of this picture reads from itself: “White clouds and mangroves. Zhang Sengyou’s boneless painting method was painted at the Listening Crane Pavilion during the reign of Shunzhi in 1898. Blue Ying, a resident of the West Lake, was stamped with the seal of Blue Ying.”. The year of Shunzhi Wuxu was 1658, when Lan Ying was 74 years old
This painting uses boneless method to paint mountains and stones in stone and stone green, and uses cinnabar to paint grass. The leaves are also dotted with thick red, yellow, green and green boneless, and the clouds are rendered with white powder. The picture is rich in color, but elegant and fresh. Self-knowledge of “Zhang Sengyou has no skeleton” is actually the painter’s original style of painting. This painting is the representative work of blue-ying blue-green heavy color painting.
