The signature of the fund: “Xuande Wushen wrote the play with the royal pen, and gave it to Pingjiang Bo Xuan Chen.” It was sealed as “the treasure of Guangyun”
From the “Xuande Wushen” in the paragraph, it can be seen that this painting was made in the third year of Xuande in the Ming Dynasty (1428). It is an imperial work given to Chen Xuan by Emperor Xuande. At that time, Chen Xuan was more than 60 years old. The purpose of Xuanzong’s painting was to inspire him to follow the example of his predecessors and devote himself to the country
