Zhang Feng Fan Page of Mount Huangshan Poetic Map

[Zhang Feng’s fan page of Mount Huangshan Poetic Map]

The fan page of Mount Huangshan Poetic Map, Ming Dynasty, Zhang Feng’s painting, gold paper, color setting, 16cm in length and 51.2cm in width
The fan page has its own title: “The dragon pines and stalagmites stand high, and the old monk walks in the shadow of white clouds. The fuming wind blows the snow in May, and the flowers bloom all over the mountain without being recorded. Friends visit Mount Huangshan Mountain and return, saying their victory, and writing poems to remember it. Please ask Mr. Zheng Weng to draw a picture in the early summer. Zhang Feng.” Seal “Zhang Dafeng” Zhu Wenyin
“Xinchou” is the 18th year of Shunzhi in the Qing Dynasty (1661)
As far as I know, this picture is drawn by the author according to his friend’s oral experience of visiting Mount Huangshan in May. The fan adopts a top-down open and close composition, which does not fall into the pattern of the predecessors, and the scenery is strange and dangerous. The whole picture is mainly composed of mountains and rocks in seven places and eight places. The surface of the rocks is chapped and dyed. It seems that the strokes are loose and casual. In fact, the strokes are changeable and not out of style. Although Zhang Feng did not experience Mount Huangshan personally, since 1644, he has walked to the northern capital with a sword, left Lulong and Shanggu, surveyed the mountains of Changping and Tianshou, and climbed many famous mountains and rivers. In his later years, when he heard about the splendor of Mount Huangshan Mountain, he was able to accurately draw his own perception of the magnificence of Mount Huangshan Mountain
