This is a painting sent by Wen Zhengming to be an official friend. The picture depicts a small scene of the Taihu Lake Lake stone with wrinkles, leaks, penetrations and thinness, and the whirling apricot trees. Wen Zhengming is famous for his hand-painted landscape paintings. He occasionally paints figures and orchids and bamboos. This is the only fan painting with the theme of apricot trees, which is very rare. The layout of this painting is ingenious. The stone and the tree face each other from left to right. The stone reflects the softness of the tree with its solid texture, adding to the beauty of hardness and softness of the painting.
