This running book has three questions
On the top right is the title: “A painting is made by dipping a pen into ink, which is also a small change of ink. Two days before Ding Weiqiu’s Qixi Festival, the title of the painting was Xuan Zai.” The next seal is “Dong Qichang’s Seal”. The introduction is printed with “painting Zen”. Ding Weiwei painted this picture in the 35th year of Wanli (1607) of the Ming Dynasty, when Dong was 53 years old, the second year after he left Huguang to study politics
On the top left, there is a poem of Liu Zongyuan’s seven-character poem “The Fisherman”: “The fisherman sleeps in the west at night and burns the bamboo in the clear Hunan at dawn. The smoke disappears and the sun rises, but no one is seen. It is a sound of landscape green. Looking back at the sky, there is no heart cloud on the rock. The title in the middle left: “Brother Shi Yi hated his few paintings. This picture was hidden by his son and Lu Junce, who performed a special performance of appreciation and wanted to win. I said that Dang Gun was more profitable than others, and that Shi Yi was able to praise Junce. Junce made his own paintings, but nothing happened. This was also the teaching. Dong Xuanzai was on the second day of the Spring Festival of 1911.” Xinhai was the thirty-ninth year of Wanli (1611), and Dong Qichang was in the middle of his leisure time

This picture is also known as “Xiyan Xiaoji Picture”. The picture is empty on the left and solid on the right, and the half wall is in an S-shaped shape. This picture is painted with blue and green paint. The reeds and fishing boats are drawn with fine pens. The leaves are boneless, and the color is mixed and full of changes. The mountain stones are rubbed with moistening brush, highlighting the peaks. The works are dark and moist, quiet and quiet, and are Dong’s most successful works in the middle period.
