The fan page has its own title: “Wuling Wonderland. It is made by the Taoyuan Brothers in the autumn and September of the Wanli Guiwei period. It is made by Li Songxu.” It is sealed with “stone” and “door” in Zhu Wen Lianzhu
“Guiwei” refers to the 11th year of Wanli in the Ming Dynasty (1583), when Song Xu was 58 years old
This picture is a painting given by the author to his friend “Peach Blossom Land”, so the scene of Tao Yuanming’s “Peach Blossom Land”, a person from Wuling in the Jin Dynasty, is specially selected to show the beauty. The picture depicts the picture of “Wuling people fishing for their business, walking along the stream, forgetting the distance of the road, and suddenly meeting the Peach Blossom Forest”. The paddling of fishing boats, floating clouds and twitching of plum branches in the picture all form a strong contrast with the silence of the mountains. The combination of movement and static avoids the stagnation of the picture. The ink is exquisite and less chapped, and the color is bright, clean and elegant. It vividly depicts the quiet beauty of the Peach Blossom Land as a fairyland without the noise of the world
