These two poems are written to “Mr. Keyong”, namely Yu Kan. Yu Kan is the eighth grandson of Yu Yunwen, the famous minister of the State of Yong in the Southern Song Dynasty. Duke Yu Yong once had an ancient sword, which was admired by people. Lu Guang’s first poem was about this sword, and he also recalled his loyalty to the state court. Scholars of the Yuan Dynasty, such as Yang Weizhen, Ni Zan and Qin Wenzhong, also wrote poems about this sword. The second poem, Lu Guang, records a pleasant and unforgettable meeting with Yu Kan. The style of this book is thin, hard and vigorous
