The Record of the View of the Blessed God in Hangzhou is a stele written by Deng Wenyuan, a famous writer, which describes the beginning and end of the Taoist leader Zhang Duyi’s appointment of Cui Rujin to rebuild the view of the Blessed God on the side of the Broken Bridge on the West Lake. Zhao Mengfu wrote this inscription in the seventh year of Yanyou (1320) of the Yuan Dynasty. It was 67 years old at the time. It was his work in his very late years. The work is bounded by black silk. The font is mainly based on Li Yong of the Tang Dynasty. It is vigorous and vigorous with its own intention. The full text is written in more than seven hundred words at one time with extraordinary skill. It should have been stoned at that time, but now the monument has been lost. Only this ink remains

Interpretation (abridged)
The six characters of Zhao Mengfu’s seal book, “The Records of the Blessed God in Hangzhou”, are introduced, and the title is “On the first month of the seventh year of Yanyou, Chengde Langjin, Jiangdong Jiankang Daosuzheng, Lian Visiting Secretary Deng Wenyuan, the bachelor of Hanlin, the doctor of Chengzhi Ronglu Zhizhi Zhizhigao, and the author of Zhao Mengfu’s seal book, the national history, and the seal title.”
