Dark clouds and snow leak the morning light, mixed with the warm blue algae. There is a look in the air without being offset or overflowed. The Lord said that I was ill for a long time and sent Huiheng Gate to be shocked. The sour cold washes out of the alley, and the elegant and clean look forward to seeing each other. The public holds the Heavenly Constitution and nine weights, and considers the vitality and eight winds. The package will end the group’s expectation and look forward to Rui Ai Penglai East. This cup is full of rosy clouds. I wish you a happy spring and a happy life. At the end of the day, the corporal Zhou Boqi paid his respects again

“Zhi” is an ancient wine utensil, and “Tongxi Drink Zhi” is a wine utensil made of rhinoceros horn. From the poem, we learned that “Tongxi Drinks Zhizhi” was a gift from Daoyin Xiangguo to Zhou Boqi. Boqi then wrote a seven-character long sentence praising this rare treasure and congratulating Daoyin Xiangguo on his birthday. The work was written in the 25th year of Zhizheng (1365) and belongs to Boqi’s works in his later years. According to the biography of the History of the Yuan Dynasty, Boqi once “copied the preface to the Lanting written by Wang Xizhi, the thousand essays written by Zhiyong, and carved the stone (Xuanwen) in the pavilion”.
