Shufu glaze is the general name of a white glaze variety created and fired in Jingdezhen area in the Yuan Dynasty. Its body is generally thick and heavy, the glaze is opaque, white and slightly green, just like the color of duck eggs, so it is also called “egg white glaze”. Its main decorative technique is die printing, and the subject matter is relatively simple. The common patterns are dragon pattern, reed wild goose pattern or tangled branch pattern. Because these white glazed porcelain patterns are often stamped with the word “Shufu” in the middle, they are called “Shufu glazed white porcelain”. The Privy Council is the abbreviation of the Privy Council, an important institution in charge of the power of the national army. The porcelain with the word “Shufu” stamped on the white porcelain of the Yuan Dynasty is generally regarded as the special porcelain fired by Jingdezhen for the “Privy Council”. In addition to the words “Shufu”, the words “Taixi” and “Dongwei” were also seen on the white porcelain of the Yuan Dynasty.
