In the past, such red and green color vessels were always considered as “Song Dynasty color adding” vessels. With the continuous increase of archaeological excavation data, people found that these red and green color vessels were all unearthed in the tombs of the Jin Dynasty, but not in the tombs of the Northern Song Dynasty. Therefore, its era should be the Jin Dynasty. Such artifacts were unearthed at the Jin Dynasty kiln sites such as the Guantai kiln in Cizhou, Hebei, the Zibo kiln in Shandong, the Hebi kiln in Henan, and the Changzhi kiln in Shanxi. The shape of the vessels is mainly small bowls, which are usually painted with red and green colors on white glazed utensils, and then fired at low temperature. Some objects are painted in red, green and yellow, so they are also called “golden tricolor”.
