Volume of “The Painting of Wansong Golden Palace”, written by Zhao Bosu in the Southern Song Dynasty, is made of silk, with green color, 27.7 cm in length and 136 cm in width
This picture is not printed by the author. The back paper has Zhao Mengfu’s postscript of the Yuan Dynasty, which is called Zhao Bosu’s real pen. The picture of the pines and pavilions along the lake in the south of the Yangtze River belongs to the green landscape. The strokes are clear and complex, and the style is soft, beautiful and elegant, showing the new aesthetic taste of the royal nobles of the Southern Song Dynasty. The appearance of this picture marks the transfer of the objects of landscape painting in the Song Dynasty from the majestic mountains and rivers in the north to the green mountains and rivers in the south of the Yangtze River
In addition to Zhao Mengfu’s postscript, there are also inscriptions by Ni Zan and Zhang Shen of the Yuan Dynasty at the end of the volume
