Geyao blue-glazed octagonal bowl is 4.2 cm high, 7.8 cm in diameter, and 2.8 cm in foot diameter
The bowl is octagonal, the mouth is slightly outward, the arc wall, and the octagonal circle foot is slightly outward. The whole body is painted with blue glaze and is covered with open patterns. The inner wall is thinner than the glaze, and the opening is small and dense, forming an irregular spider web, that is, a hundred pieces of garbage. The glaze on the outer wall is thick, with large opening and ice cracks. The rim of the mouth is thin due to the glaze drop, and the purple-black fetal bone is faintly reflected. The unglazed foot end is iron black, commonly known as “purple mouth iron foot”
This bowl is novel and elegant in shape, with sharp corners and edges, and natural lines. It is a treasure of Songge kiln artifacts
