This furnace is modeled after the bronze ware of the Han Dynasty. Straight mouth, flat bottom, the caliber is the same as the bottom diameter, with three legs underneath. The whole body is covered with light sky blue glaze, which is bright and clean. The glaze surface has fine grain, and there is no glaze at the foot. Two stringed lines are raised at the edge of the outer wall and near the bottom, and three stringed lines are raised in the middle of the abdomen. There are 5 small nail marks on the outsole. Porcelain glaze flaking is formed by cooling after baking due to different expansion coefficients of body and glaze. It will continue to crack in case of cold and heat changes during the porcelain spreading process. It originally belongs to a defect of glaze, but because of its natural and vivid patterns, it is gradually regarded as a special decoration. The glaze of Ru kiln celadon is mostly covered with layers of “ice cracks”, which are natural and endurable. According to the literature records, the time when Ru kiln fired porcelain for the court was in the late Northern Song Dynasty. Some scholars speculated that it was only 20 or 40 years. Due to the short firing time, few products have been handed down so far. According to the published data, there are less than 100 handed down products. It is known that there are only three three-legged bottle furnaces of Ru Kiln handed down, which are now stored in the Palace Museum, the Great Vader Foundation in London, the United Kingdom, and the Cincinnati Museum in the United States.
