[Dengfeng Kiln White-glazed Pearl-ground Scratched Double Tiger Bottle]
Dengfeng Kiln White-glazed Pearl-ground Scratched Double Tiger Bottle, Song Dynasty, 32.3 cm high, 7.3 cm caliber, 9.5 cm foot diameter
The bottle looks like an olive and has a round foot. The tire is taupe, and the surface is painted with white cosmetic soil. The outer wall is carved with two tigers, one standing, the other walking, bared teeth and cocked tail, agile and fierce, fighting in the grass, lined with cave stones and plantains, with a lotus petal pattern near the bottom. The space outside the pattern is stamped with a small pearl-shaped circle, so it is called “Pearl Land”
This bottle is a representative work of Dengfeng Kiln with regular production, smooth lines, harmonious colors, vivid and realistic painting and vigorous strokes.
