The glaze is thin and uneven. The color of the glaze is green in green, and the glaze surface has fine split patterns
Yuezhou Kiln is located in the area of the embankment of Xiangyin County, Hunan Province. It was the location of Xiangyin Kiln in the Sui Dynasty. It was subordinate to Yuezhou in the Tang Dynasty, so it was called “Yuezhou Kiln”. The porcelain body wall of Yuezhou kiln in the Tang Dynasty is thin, thick and loose, iron gray, bright glaze, with enough glaze at the bottom, delicate utensils and less decoration. Most of them adopt the pin burning method. According to scientific archaeological investigation and chemical analysis, the celadon glaze applied in the celadon of Yuezhou kiln is a lime glaze with a high content of calcium oxide (CaO). Under the reducing atmosphere, if the glaze is well controlled, it will appear pure cyan. If the reducing atmosphere is not well controlled, it will appear different shades of cyan glaze.
