Tri-color pedestal

[Tri-color pedestal]

Tri-color pedestal, Tang Dynasty, 7.5 cm high, 14 cm horizontal, 11 cm vertical, 14 cm horizontal and 11 cm vertical
The shape of the seat surface is the same as that of the bottom, which is in the form of Begonia flower, with the top and bottom edges, and the center of the seat surface is carved with the pattern of precious phase flower. Between the surface and the bottom of the receptacle are eight outward protruding vases, with a circular hollow on the top and bottom. The whole body is on the dark green, brown yellow and white glaze, with raised pearl-shaped dots as auxiliary decoration. The glaze juice is thick and moist, with traces of downward flow
Although this tri-color hollowed-out pedestal is a Ming ware, it is beautifully made. Not only is the glaze extremely gorgeous, but also it is decorated with hollow-out and pearl floor, which makes the decoration more decorative. It is a very successful masterpiece of Tang tri-color art.
