Since the Southern Qi Dynasty, the body of the official seal has become significantly larger, and the red text has been used instead, the nose button is higher, the button hole is larger, and the seal ribbon is thicker. The establishment of local administrative regions in the Tang Dynasty was divided into five levels: “Dao (prefecture), state, county, township and li”. Among them, counties are divided into three categories: Beijing County, Ji County and Zhuzhou County. There are six counties in Beijing: Chang’an, Wannian, Henan, Luoyang, Taiyuan and Jinyang; Jixian County is under the jurisdiction of Jingzhao, Henan and Taiyuan; Zhuzhou County is divided into three levels according to the number of registered permanent residence and the quality of the region. This “seal of Tang’an County” is made in the same way as the “seal of Zhongshu Province”, the official seal of the Tang Dynasty in the Forbidden City.
