[Fragments of Dunhuang color painting patterns]

Fragments of Dunhuang color painting patterns, Tang Dynasty, paper edition, color setting, vertical 28 cm, horizontal 16.5 cm
The pattern is horizontally continuous in two directions, the third column on the top is cirrus, and the following are mostly geometric patterns. It is outlined in light ink, and the filling color is mainly red and green, with white, red and ochre colors. Because of the age, the color appears mottled and incomplete
The postscript: “The colorful remains of the Tang people in the Dunhuang Thousand Buddha Cave are in the old collection of the Li Muzhai’s Jiajia Hall. The Dunhuang scriptures are still widely circulated, and the paintings are extremely rare (rare), and extremely valuable. How can you recognize the Mid-Autumn Festival?” The next seal is Zhu Wen’s “He Sui”, Bai Wen’s “Xupu Calligraphy and Painting”, and Zhu Wen’s “60 years of Dinghai”
The fragments of this painting were donated by Mr. He Sui to the Palace Museum in 1955. According to the inscription and postscript of He Suilu, it was once collected by Li Shengduo’s Jiaguan.
