Amitabha’s cheeks are plump and round, his eyes look down, his manner is solemn, and his hands carry the fearless seal and the wish seal. The right shoulder is bare, and the cassock is semi-draped. The grain of the garment is natural and smooth, and very textured. The two disciples put their hands together and looked respectful
The base of the statue is rectangular, with the inscription “On February 8, the eleventh year of Emperor Kaihuang’s reign, Buddhist disciple Zhang Maoren made a white jade Buddha statue for his dead parents. The seventh generation died first, and the existing family members became Buddhas for a time”.
