This is the rubbings of the Qing Dynasty. The word “filial piety” in the first line of “The Analects of Filial Piety” has been removed, only the lower hook is left, and the upper right half of the word “classics” has been damaged. Huang Yi identified it and sealed it with the seal of “Little Penglai Pavilion Jinshi”
The monument was erected in the first year of Yongkang in the Han Dynasty (167). The inscription records Wu Rongxue’s excellent career and his death due to the grief of Emperor Huan’s “death”. The style of the calligraphy is simple and ancient, steep and vigorous, beautiful and lively. It is a good monument of the Han Dynasty, and also authentic calligraphy. The monument is now in the Han Stele Room of Jining Museum, Shandong Province
