[Jade cloud pattern sword head]
Jade cloud pattern sword head, the Warring States Period, with an outer diameter of 5.3 cm and a thickness of 0.7 cm. The old collection of the Qing Palace
The jade on the head of this sword is bluish white, in the shape of a thin sheet, with a round hole in the center, and a complex pattern on one side. The ring hole has six persimmon stem patterns around it, and there are two cloudy lines outside it. The other side is divided into inner and outer areas by double yin lines. The inner area is plain and without lines. There are three tunnel holes, and the outer area is decorated with “D” shaped hook cloud pattern
Among the jade sword heads, the round sword head is the most common, but such works with decorative patterns on both sides are rare.
