The tripod is flat and folded outward, with a deep round belly, two upright ears and three hoofed feet. Two strings are decorated under the mouth
There is an inscription on the inner wall of the tripod with eight lines of 82 characters:
In March of the tenth and fifth year, the king was in the “0225” palace, and was guarded by Jue Youshou
Wang Xiaoli, Wang Hu Shanfu, “0227”, called
to join us. Wang Zhao walked on the horse “0229”,

The main idea is that in March of the 15th year, on the day of Dinghai, the moon phase was “both hegemonic”, the king was in the “0225” palace, and the king and his staff were responsible for the security task. The king held a big feast. The king ordered his close minister, the cook, to call him up at 0227. He and his subordinates entered the palace to take on the task of security. The king also called the military officer to go to 0229 and ordered him to take out 32 red and black-tailed male horses and give them to Da. Big bow and kowtow. In order to thank and promote the great beauty of the Son of Heaven, we made this tripod to commemorate his glorious father. The great descendants will always use this tripod for thousands of years.
